Primary school children (Years 3 – 6)
Codingbug has been teaching at the following schools for a number of years: Mary Elton Primary, Yatton Schools, Backwell Juniors and Winscombe Primary School.
Scratch for beginners – Mondays

Five weeks of online coding for children who are new to Scratch. Suitable for children in Year 3 to Year 6 who no previous experience with Scratch.
This course starts in January on Mondays.
Spaces are limited.
Online coding club – Tuesdays

Five weeks of online coding on Tuesdays. Learn to program with Scratch.
Suitable for children in Year 3 and Year 4 who have some familiarity with Scratch.
Online coding club – Wednesdays

Five weeks of online coding on Wednesdays. Learn to program the micro:bit.
Suitable for children in Year 5 and Year 6 who are already familiar with coding and want to learn new programming skills.
Online coding club – Thursdays

Five weeks of online coding on Thursdays. Learn to code in Scratch and make stories and games.
This class is suitable for children in Year 3 – Year 6 who have some familiarity with Scratch.
Secondary School Students ( Years 7 – 9)
A brand new online course for students in Year 7 – 9. Sign up for Term 4 ( March 2021).
Programming with Python – Mondays
(Years 7 – 9)

This course starts in March 2021 and it will run on Mondays for five weeks.
Your will learn the fundamentals of computer programming using Python and progress to make your own games.
