Our online coding clubs are tailored for primary and secondary school students. Choose a course and sign up for Term 6 (June/July 2021).

Primary school children (Years 3 – 6)

Codingbug has been teaching at the following schools for a number of years: Mary Elton Primary, Yatton Schools, Backwell Juniors and Winscombe Primary School.

Monday coding club (Make Apps with JavaScript)

Five weeks of online coding for children who want to improve their coding skills. Suitable for children in Year 4 to Year 6. Some familiarity with coding is essential.

Online coding club – Tuesdays (Scratch)

Five weeks of online coding on Tuesdays. Learn to program with Scratch.

Suitable for children in Year 3 to Year 6.

Online coding club – Wednesdays (Web design)

Five weeks of online coding on Wednesdays. Learn how to make a web page using HTML/CSS.

Suitable for children in Year 5 and Year 6 who are already familiar with coding and want to develop their text based coding skills.

Five weeks of online coding on Thursdays. Learn to code in Scratch and make stories and games.

This class is suitable for children in Year 3 to Year 6 who have some familiarity with Scratch.

Secondary School Students ( Years 7 – 9)

A brand new online course for students in Year 7 – 9. Sign up for Term 4 ( March 2021).

Python GUIs (Years 7 – 9)

This course will run on Mondays for five weeks.

Your will learn the fundamentals of Graphic Interface Design using Python. You will use basic principles of Python programming to create a GUI.
