Robotics club

At our Robotics Club, your child will learn how to program our robots that respond to their environment. Each week students will explore coding principles alongside artificial intelligence through engaging, hands-on activities.

Children will gain practical experience in robotics by working with sensors, cameras, voice control and AI-powered vision, discovering how robots can “see”, “hear” and respond intelligently to the world around them.

Every session is designed to inspire creativity and curiosity while building essential kills in logical thinking, critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork. Through interactive challenges and fun, simulated scenarios, children apply their learning in meaningful contexts that reflect how robotics is used in everyday life.

The club is suitable for children in Years 3 – 6. Lessons are tailored to suit different skill levels.

Children learn to:

  • design, build and program robots that respond to the world around them
  • bring robots to life using sensors to detect obstacles, light, distance and movement
  • use AI-powered vision to recognise colours, objects, patterns and QR codes
  • program robots to respond to voice commands
  • create interactive behaviours and simple games
  • use LED displays to bring their creations to life with lights and effects
  • explore how robots are used in everyday life and real-world industries
  • build confidence in coding and problem-solving
  • learn to test and debug code
  • collaborate with others and have fun
