At coding club the children learn computational thinking, the fundamentals of computer programming and digital skills. They also learn to collaborate with each other in a fun and friendly environment. We use a virtual classroom and online interactive lessons.
Learn to program with Scratch
The children will use the Scratch programming language to create a games and stories. They will learn about algorithms and how to solve computational puzzles. Children in Year 6 will be making an end of year Scratch project.
- Learn to code by making your own games using the Scratch programming language
- Drag and drop blocks of code and learn programming concepts
- Share and remix games.
This course is for children in Years 3 – Year 6 who wish to improve their coding skills. Suitable for beginners.
The children will need a laptop/desktop device with camera and audio.
