Coding Club at Yatton Schools

At Coding Club the children learn computational thinking, the basics of computer programming and digital skills. They also learn to collaborate with each other in a fun and friendly environment.

 

  • KS2 Years 3 & 4

    Make a Pac-Man game with Scratch

    Pac-man

    The children will learn how to create their first Pac-Man game with the Scratch programming language. They will also learn how to create their own images using pixel-editing software and use their images in Scratch.

  • KS2 Years 5 & 6

    Learn to program with the micro:bit

    micro:bit compass

    This term the children will use MicroPython to program the micro:bit. The children will also make their own animated GIF’s and characters using pixel-editing software and use them in Scratch to create new projects.
