Coding Club at Yatton Schools

Interactive coding sessions where the children learn basic programming concepts and computational thinking, while having fun.

 

  • KS2 Year 3 – Year 6

    Make a website

    Use your favourite Pokèmon characters to create a mini website.

    You will learn how to plan your website and how to get all the characters you need.

    You will write the content for your website.

    You will learn about how links  and image formats work.

    You will learn how to code your website using HTML and CSS.

    You will learn to collaborate with others and have fun making your website.

  • KS1 Year 1 – Year 2

    Solve puzzles and learn to code

    Learn to code by making your own animations and stories.

    Have fun and interact with your creations.

    The children will learn programming basics and computational thinking by solving puzzles and creating their own animations. They also learn how to collaborate with their friends.

    Appropriate for all levels, including beginners. All materials will be provided for this session.

    NOTE: There won’t be any sessions in Term 5, but see dates below for Term 6.
